Daniel is a geophysicist with nine years of experience in using geophysical methods for mineral exploration. He currently works as a senior geophysicist at Vale, mainly looking for copper-gold deposits in the Carajás region.

Previously, Daniel was a geophysicist on Anglogold Ashanti’s brownfield exploration team. There, he was responsible for geophysical activities in the regions of the Quadrilátero Ferrífero, Crixás and greenfield areas of the company in the exploration for gold deposits. He has experience with petrophysics and various airborne, ground and profiling using geophysical methods for mineral exploration.
