Foi concebido e equipado para microscopia \u00f3ptica de rochas e gr\u00e3os e para documenta\u00e7\u00e3o gr\u00e1fica de imagens, desde a escala megasc\u00f3pica at\u00e9 aumentos da ordem de 1000 vezes. Em parceria com a representante da Leica no Brasil, v\u00e1rios cursos r\u00e1pidos de introdu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 an\u00e1lise de imagens j\u00e1 foram oferecidos no laborat\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O laborat\u00f3rio conta com um conjunto de equipamentos \u00f3pticos, conectado a sistema de capta\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens eletr\u00f4nicas e fotogr\u00e1ficas e a sistema de an\u00e1lise gr\u00e1fico-estat\u00edstica de imagens digitais, destinados a usos t\u00edpicos da pesquisa em geologia. Os equipamentos \u00f3pticos incluem um macrovisor de mesa com iluminadores (base de reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o), uma lupa estereosc\u00f3pica com luz polarizada e tr\u00eas microsc\u00f3pios petrogr\u00e1ficos. O sistema de capta\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens \u00e9 constitu\u00eddo de quatro c\u00e2meras&nbsp;Leica pr\u00f3prias para microsc\u00f3pio e uma c\u00e2mera de v\u00eddeo CCD. Proporciona um aumento m\u00e1ximo de 400x.
